From research to resilience: one year of LoRaSi
Twelve months from a MIPRO research paper to a live proof of concept on CGES high-voltage lines.
One year ago LoRaSi d.o.o. was established, grounded in the LoRaSi team’s research and given technical momentum through collaboration with Andrea Gualandi, CTO and co-founder of Astreo.
What began as a research paper presented at the MIPRO convention in Opatija became, in twelve months, a run of milestones we did not expect to reach this quickly:
- ICPGEEC CIGRE, Dubrovnik — presented the SAMST digital twin, showing how virtual modelling can predict structural fatigue before it becomes failure.
- Web Summit, Lisbon — represented Montenegro alongside the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, taking SAMST to a global technology audience.
- Horizon4Poland at Łukasiewicz – ILOT — presented SAMST to one of Europe’s leading research networks.
- Keiretsu Forum Southeast Europe — made the case to the investment community that grid resilience is a pillar of regional economic security.
- Live PoC with CGES — moved from theory to practice with a proof of concept on the Montenegrin transmission network, proving the technology on actual high-voltage lines.
